StudentChat respects the rights of creators. If you believe your copyrighted work has been shared on our platform without permission, tell us and we will act quickly.
1. Report Infringement
To file a copyright complaint, send a notice to our team through the contact page with all of the following:
- 1. The exact work you own (link, title, or description).
- 2. Where it appears on StudentChat (room, username, date, or link).
- 3. Your name and a way to reach you (email).
- 4. A statement that you believe, in good faith, the use is not authorized.
- 5. A statement that your notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury.
- 6. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. What Happens Next
We review every valid notice. Infringing images, uploads, profile music, and posts are removed quickly, and the uploader is warned. Accounts that repeatedly share other people's work lose uploading rights and may be permanently banned.
3. Counter-Notice
If your own content was removed by mistake, you can reply through the contact page with your name, contact details, a description of the removed content, and a statement (under penalty of perjury) that the removal was a mistake. We may restore content that is not clearly infringing.
4. Protect Your Own Work
Only upload images, music, and text you created or have permission to share. Do not re-upload content that was removed for copyright reasons. False reports can lead to account penalties, so please report carefully and honestly.
