2. Age Requirement & User Separation

StudentChat is available to users aged 13 and older. To ensure safety, we operate a strict separation policy:

• Teens (13–17) — chat in teen-only environments
• Adults (18+) — chat in adult-only environments
• Cross-age interaction is prevented by design and enforced by moderation
• Users under 13 are prohibited. Accounts found to be underage will be permanently banned

3. Moderation & Safety

StudentChat is a heavily moderated platform. All public chat rooms are monitored 24/7 by a combination of human moderators and AI-powered filtering systems. Our moderation policies include:

• Real-time message filtering for inappropriate content
• Immediate removal of hate speech, harassment, and explicit material
• Zero-tolerance policy for predatory behavior
• Permanent bans for serious or repeated violations
• Users can report violations instantly via the report button

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform responsibly and respectfully. Prohibited behavior includes but is not limited to:

• Harassment, bullying, or threats
• Hate speech, racism, or discrimination
• Sharing explicit, sexual, or adult content (in teen areas)
• Spam, phishing, or malicious links
• Impersonation of staff or other users
• Sharing personal information of yourself or others
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools

5. Account Registration

Registration is required to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
